The story about a baby brother born on 10/11/12 : Nolan James // holly lake maternity and newborn photographer

A very long time ago...longer than any one of us can even try to imagine, God made a plan. It was a creative, detailed, just, interesting, and perfect plan. And somewhere in the middle of that plan there was a baby named Nolan James. God, who puts the solitary in families, had chosen this baby to be nestled in the blessed, rambunctious, boy-filled, home of the Newbold family who already had three little gentlemen on the roster. This family has had the grace of God poured upon them in wonderful ways and they bless my heart. :) In September, while Nolan was cozily baking in the oven, I came over to this home, characterized with its high volume giggles, Star Wars posters, wooden sword and Lego cluttered bedroom floors, to capture some moments of his pretty Mama and her family as they excitedly counted down the weeks before he joined them face to face. :)
And then, within a matter of weeks...he arrived! He also managed to have like the coolest birth-date ever. ;)
Did I mention I love babies? Cause I do. A lot, a lot, a lot. :D

P.S. This is my first maternity shoot...you like? :)

  13. this is what I love- that I would be able to tell immediately these were photos taken by Allix girl, even if I saw them out of context. that means you're good at telling stories through your eyes, but not only that, you're good at telling OTHERS stories through your photos. both the voice of Allix and this family are speaking through these pictures.
I hope at least a bit of what I mean made it through all these confusing words and into your heart. if not, that's okay, because I just want you to know, I think you're amazing and awesome, just like your photography. ;)
