Jessica Shae: portraits // dallas, tx portrait photographer

So, remember those portraits of Jessica I promised you the other day?
I didn't keep my promise to post them in a week.
But two weeks instead of one isn't totally treachery...is it?
Forgive me?
Still Friends?
Good. :)
Oh, and I also feel like I should briefly mention the redesign going on around here. I was way beyond fed up with the old one. To be blunt - it stunk. Don't be shy to think the same thing. It did. Changes were down right necessary. New logo, new color scheme, new picture size...the works. So, what are you thinking so far? Give me some feedback. Nothing is in the "STOP RIGHT THERE AND DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING I LOVE IT!!" stage so feel free to be honest on what you love, what you don't love so much, or what you sorta kinda like a little bit but it would be better if I changed it to something a little more like...well, whatever you think. :)
Ok, I'm done yakking now...on to the beauty. :)

And when one is talking about Jessica there is indeed a lot of beauty to address...both inside and out. :)

She is a deep soul...dear friend, lovely person, wildly creative individual, dear sister/daughter, darling girlfriend to Joshua Caleb {hehe ;) had to add that}, awesome photographer, faithful follower of Christ...

And be careful,  her smile is very contagious. :)

Her laugh is also the most adorable thing ever. :D

I'm serious. The.most.adorable.

Love ya, Jessica girl :)

You're really great. :)

P.S. If you're wondering why I didn't get to post last Monday its because it was my first day at my new job at my pastor's {who is also a dentist} office.
WHOO HOO!! OH YEAH!! UH-HUNH!!

sorry...its kinda a leetle exciting. ;)
P.P.S. Scrubs make an individual feel like 25 years older. Its a strange phenomenon. My mother says they make me look older...but that theory is yet to be proven. For now I'm just trying to get over that feeling that I'm just a little kid pretending to be an adult. My normal coping mechanism is taking 37 deep breaths and trying not to hide under the desk when the phone rings... while still remembering where all the bathrooms are and where all the doors lead to...all this while still maintaining consciousness and being able to put intelligent sentences together. ;)
P.P.P.S. If you're reading this and its Monday morning, I'm actually working while you read so if you could stop laughing hysterically at my cowardice for like two seconds and pray that I survive, that would be stupendous. ;)
{Juuuuust kidding...For real, I have the dearest, most darling bestie for a coworker and super amazing boss helping me stay afloat in this ocean of scaredycatishness. I'm really blessed beyond measure and am so very very thankful. :D}

  1. Aw,I love this post! And good luck on the new job :-) I kind of felt the same way when I took over for my piano teacher last fall. Walking around a school and being regarded as a real teacher(and adult) was intimidating at times. But also a lot of fun.

  4. awwww...dear friend, thank you for all your sweet words! I like you! :) And you're a pretty fab photographer, but if you ever get tired of that you should definitely go into a profession where you can wear scrubs, because you look cuh-YUTE in them! Or maybe you could mix the two...pictures of people getting their teeth cleaned? Or a portrait photographer who wears scrubs?

    I dunno...but it's definitely something to think about :)
