And then we started plans for the birthday night. I decided I wanted to eat somewhere new, different, and sophisticated...to fit how I was feeling about "seventeen." 

So that's what I found for us. :)

An evening filled with a multi-faceted photoshoot {3 month old, family, 10 year anniversary}, luscious sunshine, watching some of my favorite littles swim, and Popsicles {eaten too fast to be pictured.}  Folks, I care not that the calender has not yet declared its beginning...I say, it is summer.
