Meeting Hannah : Spontaneous Wonderful // pittsburg, tx portrait and lifestyle photographer

The above picture was taken by me. And its Hannah. Farmgirl in Flipflops? Yep. Which means me and her were together in person. Are you tripping out? Cause I totally was inside all day. Still kinda am. Not gonna lie. :) The story about how it all fell into place is pretty unbelievably great. Since she's already told it, I'll save time. {Haven't heard it yet...this'll get you up to speed.}
I was so nervous that morning thinking that maybe it wouldn't be as incredible as I imagined. What if she thinks I'm dumb and does that awkward laugh and frequently glances at her watch like people do when they wish they could be anywhere in the world but here. Would I laugh too loud? Would I get tongue tied? Should I put my hair in a ponytail? Should I wear that pink shirt with my pink earrrings? Oh no...I have pink nail polish...they're gonna think I'm obsessed! When we pulled up to the orchard I could see them getting out of the car. And there she was. That girl that I had grown to love over the internet...whose photography had inspired me for years, whose blogging had encouraged me and made me laugh til I cried. I knew so much about her and even her family. But it hit me like a ton of bricks as I walked up that I only liked my perception of her and she only liked her perception of me. What if...What IF?! We saw each other. And a thousand words seemed to boil out of both of us all at once. We were still in a daze of excitement and disbelief as we agreed to take a stroll about the place. Then I realized something.
I liked this girl for real. :)
Everything about the day reminded me of that beloved C.S. Lewis quote...how does it go again?
Friendship is born at that moment when two people say, "Oh my stars, I've wanted to meet you for the LONGEST.TIME." and you also wear practically matching shirts by accident.
Yeah. Something like that.
It didn't take long for us to realize that we would never forget this completely and totally epic day of fun.
It also didn't take long for us to realize we must've been cut from the same crazy cloth. Without planning it we both started making "a face." I believe her brother Joe put it this way,
"Oh gosh...y'all could be related."
I mean seriously, we posed with this ridiculous little car together. Our friendship was being built upon good things.
Oh Hannah dear, aren't you glad we found the real thing? Cause I certainly am. ;)
Ain't she pretty? :)
Her brother {and also my mom} was nice enough to follow us around and help us take pictures. A photographer's family is always their secret weapon...automatic second shooters available round the clock and with you the majority of the time! ;)
Doing her thing. :D
The orchard we met at has an abundance of vintage vehicles as well as fruit. ;)
Instagram junkies...yes we are. ;)
We eventually took a rest from our adventures and did a naturally Texas thing and
just sat around visiting. :) {And they took the pleasure of trying a "Real Coke" i.e. made with real sugar. Another awesome Texas thing. :)}
Then we resumed our exploring. :)
Our beautiful mothers. :D
The fruit is soooo gorgeously enticing...If I could, I'd probably take it all to go. ;)
Soooo, mom. Can I keep her?? Pretty please. :)
